newsletter and on-line in REFORMANET.
ACKNOWLEDGES
outstanding contributions in the field of library service to the Spanish
speaking
through the biennial Northeast Chapter Pura Belpré Award, and mini-grants
for library programs.
PROVIDES
an open forum for sharing ideas, questions and concerns.
ESTABLISHES
local and national information and support networks through the REFORMA
Newsletter, the Northeast Chapter meeting minutes and REFORMANET.
PUBLICIZES
library services and resources in Spanish speaking communities through
special programs, media events and activities.
SPONSORS
workshops and programs at state, regional and national library conferences.
OFFERS
you the opportunity to visit and tour a variety of libraries in the
Northeast when you attend chapter meetings.
ACTS
as liaison and works with other library organizations such as ALA,
CLA, NYLA, PLA (Pennsylvania) and NJLA.
